He spoke out during an interview with Geoff Keighley in a one-off podcast called GameSlice, when he was asked whether we'd ever see a proper Half Life 3. However, Valve co-founder Gabe Newell came out at the end of last year and did speak of Half Life 3 explicitly, but didn't actually manage to confirm or deny the game. We've got everything crossed for such news. Valve hasn't actually officially confirmed that the game exists as yet, but there have been a number of rumours suggesting it will be released eventually. The fan anticipation has actually built to "Half Life 3 Confirmed" becoming a meme, as over time numerous intentionally fake fan theories and leaks have emerged teasing the game or even some that have little or nothing to do with the games.
